Million Dollar Spaghetti

Most of the people pretend that this million dollar spaghetti recipe is dedicated to kids. But in fact eveyone I know who has tried it has been asking me the recipe. Let's see if it's the same for you.

Ingredients:

12 ounces spaghetti
1lb ground beef
1 (16oz) jar spaghetti sauce
½ cup butter sliced
¼ cup sour cream
1 cup cottage cheese
¼ cup parmesan cheese
8 ounces cream cheese
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

Method

Preheat the oven to 350 F
Cook the spaghetti into boiling water with salt according to package instructions.  Drain and set aside.
In a stand mixer, combine the sour cream, cottage cheese and cream cheese. Mix and set aside
In a large frying pan, heat a little bit olive oil over medium high heat. Add the ground beef and cook for about 6 minutes until browned.
Transfer into a bowl. Add the spaghetti sauce and mix until well combined.
Prepare a 9*13 inch baking dish. Place ½ the slices of butter on the bottom. Layer ½ of the spaghetti over the butter slices and spread the cheese mixture.
Sprinkle with parmesan cheese and add the remaining pasta. Top the pasta with the remaining butter slices. Finally layer the beef sauce on top.
Place in the oven and bake for about 30 minutes. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar over the casserole and return to  the oven.
Bake for 15 minutes more until cheese is well melted.
